Unplug, unwind, and discover a new artistic outlet that is mediative, relaxing & from a pro lettering artist in a small group workshop designed for beginners, to get people inspired about the joy of calligraphy in a relaxed, comfortable setting.
Liz Roessler of Lettering By Liz will teach the fundamentals of the therapeutic art of modern pointed pen calligraphy with acrylic ink. During this ”no experience required” class, she will introduce you to her favorite beginner's lettering style "Romantic" which is her own creative interpretation of Copperplate mixed with elements of a modern twist.
She focuses the instruction on recommendations & suggested goals for personal practice & study following class, dozens of cool ideas for using your calligraphy skills, interactive instruction on the proper way to hold the pen, healthy ergonomics & personalized 1-on-1 guidance, plus follow-up mentoring!
NEW! Students will also experiment with brush lettering & try their hand at using chalk & oil paint markers for creative writing on mirrors, glass, shells, tiles, chalkboards & more! 
Bring a favorite quote or mantra with you to class & leave with a piece of ready-to-frame lettering art. 
All materials are included in registration fee as well as a generous take-home kit with a bevy of the best materials & resources. Also follow-up mentoring / feedback / Q&A are available to all alumni and strongly encouraged!
