Learn to make authentic New Year's Dumplings and Noodles from Chef Phillip Tang of Banyan Bar + Refuge  and East by Northeast!
In this hands on class, Chef Tang (James Beard semifinalist: Best Chef Northeast 2016; former chef/owner of beloved noodle and dumpling house East by Northeast; and former Executive Chef at Banyan Bar + Refuge in the South End) will teach you the art of making an array of dumplings in time for the Chinese Lunar New Year, and present a demo of noodle pulling in his family’s traditions.
All proceeds from ticket sales will benefit Community Cooks, a local nonprofit working to rally individuals, businesses and faith-based groups to nourish thousands of neighbors in need every month.
What does the cost of the ticket include?
The price of the ticket includes a packet of recipes, wine, and a tasting of the afternoon's creations. Plus you will be helping to nourish neighbors in need!
What are my transportation/parking options for getting to and from the event?
The Cambridge School of Culinary Arts is located in Porter Square, Cambridge easily accesible by the Red Line or the Commuter Rail Fitchburg Line to the Porter Square stop. Porter Square can also be reached by the 83, 96 and 77 bus lines.
