Saturday, March 9 from 8 a.m. to noon
Do you want an entry-level lesson on sewing and garment construction? Do you have a sewing machine but are uncertain how to use it?
Join us for a hands-on introductory course that will teach you the skills needed to construct simple textile items. This class is perfect for the aspiring sewist who has been curious to try sewing or the self-taught novice that would like to increase their knowledge and skill set.
Only 10 places!
Students will:

Learn sewing vocabulary and how to thread and operate a conventional sewing machine,

Receive instruction on how to read a pattern,

Learn basic techniques to create sewn products,

Construct a tote bag, and

Receive a complimentary Rightfully Sewn sewing pattern for a tote bag to continue sewing at home.

Basic sewing supplies will be provided. A shopping list will be provided.
This class is being taught by Rightfully Sewn Production and Operations Manager. She is a graduate of New Mexico State University and has more than 7 years of experience in the industry and teaching.
