House Work presents Daydrinker is a FREE mutli-genre showcase featuring artists from all over the country bringing their style and flavor to Austin Music Week. 21+ FREE W/ RSVP YORG STORMRUNNER (1115am-12pm) A midwest based multi-instrumentalist and vocalist who has been recording, performing, touring and producing artists for the past 17 years. His Electronic act, FLASHCLASH are Detroit Music Award winners and he runs the indie label ALL THE WAY FREE. ROCKY WALLACE (1215pm-1pm) Soul/pop vocal powerhouse ROCKY WALLACE has been riding high with the recent release of her debut full length album, LOVE LIKE DESTRUCTION. Rocky’s musical influences include: Stevie Nicks, Ella Fitzgerald, Amy Winehouse, Susan Tedeschi, Carrie Underwood, Jimi Hendrix, Carlos Santana and Aretha Franklin. The AM (Acoustic Minds) (115pm-2pm) Comprised of identical twin sister singers and songwriters Jenni and Amanda Price and super producers and multi instrumentalists Josh Lorenzen and Aaron Altemose. Their sound bends genres of edm, hip hop, soul and pop. Known for their deep songwriting and unique sibling harmonies combined with tasty 80ʼs synths and future bass sounds. Their music touches on deep topics of love and loss with a hint of party vibes. PLEASURE FIX (212pm-3pm) Vintage punk band, Pleasure Fix, is a **** out of San Diego, CA. The band is comprised of drummer Emily Schwartz, bassist Ariel Schwartz, and guitarist Jeff Podeszwik. Pleasure Fix captures an old school punk sound with their melodic female vocals sung by both Emily and Ariel. Their sound is also mixed with tight classic rock ballads close to bands like Led Zeppelin. Tom Tom was lucky enough to feature Emily and request her top ten songs to find out what inspires this female drummer. BROTHER ELSEY (315pm-4pm) The brothers of Brother Elsey achieve a rare kind of harmony, not just with their soaring vocals, but also in the way they’ve blurred the boundary between being family and being friends, as well as being motivated band mates. The Detroit **** blends poignant folk ballads and driving Americana rock, the kind of heartfelt and propulsive tunes that could fit in at a coffee shop as easily as in an arena. NIQUE LOVE RHODES (415pm-5pm) Nique Love Rhodes is a hip-hop artist/performer, record producer, social entrepreneur, and community advocate from Detroit, Michigan with the mission to set souls on fire and contribute positive vibes in the world one song at a time. Inspired by artists such as Bob Marley and U2, Nique Love Rhodes creates music that elevates positive vibrations within the universal collective conscience, promotes social consciousness and social responsibility, and inspires people to affect positive change in the world.
