Monday, 14. January 2019, The MIC @McClellan Park, loT Practitioner Certification (LIVE Classroom)

The lnternet of Things (loT) will initiate the most significant skills shortage across lT, manufacturing, data analysis and security in the coming years. One million jobs in loT are expected to be added through 2020. Certified lnternet of Things Practitioner (CloTP) provides a vendor neutral foundation to build the skills required for these jobs and new job functions related to loT. CloTP and the achievement of a passing score on the loTP-110 exam will validate your ability to design, implement, operate, and/or manage an loT Eco-system at a foundational level. The lnternet of Things promises a wide range of benefits for industry, energy, and utility companies, municipalities, healthcare, and consumers.
During this 3-day LIVE in the classroom instructor-led course, participants will learn general strategies for planning, designing, developing, implementing, and maintaining an loT system through various case studies, and by assembling and using their own loT device. To get hands on experience, participants will build an loT device by programming a micro-controller, implementing various common loT features such as sensors, actuators, a web-based interface, MQTT messaging, and data encryption.
Students will be provided an IoT device kit, textbook, and exam voucher as part of their enrollment fee. You will be contacted after your registration is complete to provide the address for receiving the class materials.
