Friday, 21. June 2019, Adler Graduate School, Movement & Form; Exploring from the Inside/Out and Back Again. Rebecca Surmont, MA

This workshop will cover understanding what Movement means in Adlerian terms and how we can use the physical form to explore our own unique law of movement.
This reflective and interactive workshop is for those interested in exploring correlations between Adler’s psychological movement and physical movement.  We will explore what it means to have useful and useless movement in both areas.
We will look at movement using the four lifestyle priorities and our own physical form which expresses those priorities.
Outcomes: The workshop will consist of: Defining Movement and reflecting on one's own "movement story” in order to get more acquainted with our own "law of movement”. Using the Pew Priority to claim how physical movement is motivated by in a "social activity” to visualize how physical movement is acted out socially.
