Wednesday, 15. May 2019, Greenbelt Nature Center, Night Hike in SI Greenbelt

Join us for our weekly evening, guided hike where we will cover approximately 5 miles, and will begin and end at the same point - Greenbelt Nature Center. Bring your sense of adventure as we hike the trails with our leaders to observe "night life", identify eye shine from wildlife and listen for frog songs.
There are some small climbs along the course, but it's fairly easy.  We try to maintain a quick pace but can accommodate all skill levels.  You will see parts of the Greenbelt and the trail system that you haven't seen before! Children who are experienced hikers are welcome to attend with an ***** chaperone.
Headlamp or flashlight required. Dress for the weather and trail conditions. Proper footwear is essential. Bring water and a snack if needed. We go in all weather unless conditions are dangerous (rain = yes / thunder storms = no). Meet at entrance way to the Greenbelt Nature Center.
Presented by Greenbelt Conservancy.
