Thursday, 11. April 2019, Urban Table Culinary Arts, Oishii Japanese Meal

Ever wonder why Japan has the most centenarians in the world?  One reason is a healthy diet traditionally comprised of fresh, unprocessed foods and centered on rice, vegetables, and seafood.
In this class, you will learn how to make the core components of a traditional Japanese meal including steamed white rice, miso soup, and okazu (main and side dishes).  Dessert and tea will also be served after the meal.
You will also be introduced to common Japanese seasonings and ingredients, including the method to prepare Japanese dashi broth, a fundamental ingredient for many soups and sauces.
Come join us to learn about Japanese culture while making oiishi (delicious) home-style Japanese food.
