=> Natural born female
=> At least 1/4 Vietnamese
=> 18+ years of age (Miss)

JUDGES PANEL (7):
Head Judge: Anh Nguyet Cao
5 Female Judges + 2 Male Judges

The JUDGING CRITERIA will include:
=> 20% from The Executive & Planning Committees
Attendance, participation, personality, overall qualities and character.
=> 80% from The 7-Judges Panel (50% Evening Gown Competition + 50% Ao Dai Competition)
Round 1 = 100% will determine Top 5
Round 2 = 20% from the Executive & Planning Committees + 80% from The 7-Judges Panel
FINAL SCORES = Round 1 (30%) + Round 2 (70%)

=> Mrs Vietnam USA, Mrs Vietnam California, 1st Runner Up, & 2nd Runner Up will be based on the Judging Criteria above.
=> Mrs. Commerce will be determined by the 7-Judges Panel & The Executive and Planning Committees on Saturday, March 11th, 2017 (if applicable). - This title is now CLOSED, and ARE NOT being awarded in 2017 (updated 02/13/17)

=> Miss People's Choice will be determined by votes from the audience on Pageant Day. *Using the points system, each dollar is worth 1 point. Winner is based on the highest amount of points. *All $ collected from this title will benefit the MVNUSA Scholarship Foundation.
