Propagating plants yourself can be the least expensive way of growing a garden, and for some plants is shockingly easy!  It can also be extremely satisfying and give you access to plants and vegetables not available at the local nursery.
Learn the basics of what’s needed to be a successful plant propagator. Attendees will be able to understand aspects of basic botany and how to apply it to starting your own plants including growing from seed, cuttings, divisions, budding and grafting. 
Learning objectives include:

Understanding germination from seed in vegetables, flowers, native plants
The best plants for growing from seed
Techniques for propagating by cuttings: Selecting material by type of plant, age of the cuttings, and best time of year to propagate 
Plants that can be propagated by dividing
The fruit trees to graft, including citrus, avocado, and deciduous fruits
Demonstration of budding and grafting- Avocado and Citrus
