Tuesday, 19. February 2019, Elling Eide Center, Public Tour of The Elling Eide Center

Join us for a Docent lead tour of the Elling Eide Center. Tour begins promptly at 10 a.m.
Our mission is to support a research center and library that further the study of China before the year 1000; to preserve and manage a coastal scrub habitat on Little Sarasota Bay; and to recognize the history of the property settled by the Mitchell/Eide family.
The research library supports all levels of scholarship in the fields of Chinese and Inner Asian Studies. It is the largest private Asian library in the Western hemisphere with holdings in excess of 70,000 volumes.
Educational offerings include conferences, workshops, lectures, board retreats, nonprofit organization meetings.
We encourage guests to carpool as parking is limited. The security gate will open at 9:30am.
The Elling O. Eide Charitable Foundation Inc., 501(c) 3 nonprofit organization owns and operates the Elling Eide Center.
