Thursday, 04. April 2019, Waldorf High School, Resilient West Portal Resilientville Workshop III

Dear West Portal Stakeholder,
It feels like the news is filled with communities like ours experiencing one disaster after another.  From wildfires, gas line explosions to poor air quality – there seems to be an ever-growing list of threats to the health and well-being of our neighbors and loved ones.
That’s why The Greater West Portal Neighborhood Association (GWPNA) is proud to announce the launch of the Resilient West Portal Initiative. Learn more here.
Funded with a grant from District 7 Supervisor Norman Yee, and in partnership with the City’s Neighborhood Empowerment Network (NEN), The Resilient West Portal Initiative brings together residents and key local organizations to create and implement a strategy that will help us build a safer and better prepared place to live, work and shop.
To ensure that everyone has the chance to contribute to the development of this plan, we will be hosting three separate stakeholder workshops to accommodate your availability.
Attendees will learn more about the vision behind Resilient West Portal, its benefits as well as provide input on the resulting plan’s goals and objectives. Register today!
