Tuesday, 12. February 2019, The Potter's House, Ritual to End White Supremacy

This sacred space, for self-identified people of the African diaspora, will anticipate and ritualize the end of white supremacy and colonialism. As eras of anti-Black violence, dispossession, and extraction begin to wane through collective action, together we strengthen our shared vision through representations of old style conjure traditions for the dead.
Richael Faithful (they/them/theirs) is a multi-disciplinary folk healing artist and healing justice practitioner rooted in the African diasporic tradition of conjure. They were born in Washington DC and raised in Virginia, with a strong affinity to their southern family line in Georgia, Alabama and Texas.

The Potter’s House is accessible for all mobility devices. There are no stairs for entry or throughout the space. Our bathrooms are gender neutral, one of which has a changing table. If you have any questions or needs regarding accessibility, please feel free to reach out to Grace at grace@pottershousedc.org.
