The Ivory Club of Tampa Bay Lecture Series & Gala Night, 
"The state of Africa’s economic Emergence - United Nations Development Program's (UNDP) engagement in Africa"
Featuring Mrs. Ahunna Eziakonwa-Onochie as keynote speaker.

United Nations (UN) Assistant Secretary General, Regional Director for Africa. With over 20 years  experience covering UN development activities all over Africa, she is a regular guest speaker on the continent and has first-hand knowledge of how economic emergence is taking shape all over Africa
Join us as we celebrate the 15th anniversary of our Lectures Series on Africa
The evening will include a silent auction, a lecture by our keynote speaker, dinner, traditional African music and dance performances by the "African Heritage Ensemble" and "Kuumba Dancers". The night will culminate with dancing to tunes from across Africa.
This program is the primary fundraising vehicle the Ivory Club of Tampa Bay relies on to support its key educational and community based programs such as:

University of South Florida (USF) Endowed Scholarship. Since 1999, the Ivory Club has awarded merit and need based scholarships at USF.

International Student Exchange Program where recipient USF Students are sent to an African university for a semester

Disaster relief and social assistance – e.g. Donations to Haiti earthquake and West African Ebola relief efforts, Tampa Bay Boys & Girls Club, reading program for underserved inner-city kids, and more

Included in the program as well is a raffle draw with top giveaways including large Vizio HD LED TV,  10'' Amazon Fire Tablet with Alexa, Dinner for two at Queen of Sheba (Ethiopian Restaurant), and Single Admission to Busch Gardens Theme Park, and store gift cards.
