Yoga for Athletes Intensive: Integrating yoga into your training regimen for increased athletic performance. CEU's provided: NASM - 0.7Yoga Alliance - 8 
2 day Intensive: Saturday, April 27 from 12pm - 4pm and Sunday, April 28 from 12pm - 4:15pm.In this intensive, appropriate for all levels of yoga and fitness experience, you’ll learn why yoga can serve as a valuable addition to your students' sport specific training regimen and yoga practice. You will learn how to increase your students' performance on the mat, field, court or open road. We will spend time discussing specific poses focused on increasing flexibility and strength. You will learn how yoga will serve the athlete as a visual and mental supplement. We will briefly discuss self myofascial release (SMR) and how this technique can help prevent injury and offer relief. No matter what your athletic/yoga experience is, you’ll have a better understanding of practical ways to incorporate yoga into your training/teaching program. You will leave with a new outlook on the possibilities that yoga provides and have the tools to become a better coach/teacher.
