Saturday, 25. February 2017, Chicago, Zephyr BD Presents: Alhambra Palace Restaurant Field Trip!

All right Zephyr students, friends, and family members - have we got a fantastic Christmas gift for your favorite bellydancer! On Saturday, February 25th, we will be heading to Alhambra Palace Restaurant in Chicago for dinner and a show! For our guests North of Chicago, we'll be getting transportation to take you from Milwaukee to meet-up with our Illinois dance sisters (and their friends and family members) for an evening of laughter, fantastic food, and fabulous entertainment! We will be departing the Milwaukee area promptly at 6:30pm so that we can meet up with our Illinois peeps at the stunningly beautiful Alhambra Palace Restaurant. We will be seated on the main floor of the restaurant and should have about 90 minutes before the live entertainment begins. In addition to live musicians and singers, we will have the pleasure of watching the inspiring performances of Surayah and her dancers. Typically the show lasts for 30 minutes. After that, there is more live entertainment, and sometimes open dancing. If we have enough time, we may be able to catch Surayah’s second show (which is different from the first show!) before departing for home around midnight.

Please note that Alhambra does enforce a “Business Casual” Dress Code (no running shoes, and while you may see some people sporting jeans, I wouldn’t suggest wearing them). Unfortunately, per the restaurant, this event is for those that are 21 and older.

The number of people utilizing transportation services will be the determining factor on what kind of transportation we end up with. To keep things as cost-effective as possible, we do not want to book a more expensive bus if there are not enough people to fill it. As soon as we have a final number, we will let you know what our transportation will be. If you should choose to drive to Chicago yourself, you certainly may, however we do suggest that you utilize the valet company at Alhambra as street parking is a bit of a nightmare. Valet costs $10.

Regarding food. We will be eating a family style dinner, which means that our food will be served on large platters to share – similar to buffet, but no refills, so make sure to be considerate of others when dishing up your portion. We’ll start with a salad, our entrée will be chicken and veggie kabobs, beef swarma, and rice, and then we’ll enjoy baklava for dessert. Beverages must be purchased separately. If you have special dietary needs, please contact Stephanie immediately so that we can work with the restaurant for an alternative.

We know this is not exactly an inexpensive trip, so we are offering a few different payment plans, and accept payment in a few different ways for your convenience. Please review the attached form for your options. Please note that payments are non-refundable due to cancellation on your part, however, you are more than welcome to sell your spot to another individual if you are able to do so. Just let us know. If you have any questions at all, please do not hesitate to ask us!

We sincerely hope that you will join us for this event. Alhambra Palace Restaurant and Surayah’s show are an absolutely amazing experience and one that is not to be missed!

Here is a link to the form. We will also upload it as an image. If you would prefer that we email you a copy of the form, please let us know! https://www.dropbox.com/s/af0uz8p6fw9rewl/alhambra%20form.pdf?dl=0
